You Are Austin |
A little bit country, a little bit rock and roll. You're totally weird and very proud of it. Artistic and freaky, you still seem to fit in... in your own strange way. Famous Austin residents: Lance Armstrong, Sandra Bullock, Andy Roddick |

Have a good time in New York. I've never been, so no tips I'm afraid.
I wish I had seen this earlier.
You have to go to schoolhouse yarn shop. Broadway and 28th. Look up the address because it is inside a building.
Empire State Building is neat, so is the Statue of Liberty. If you don't have time to go to the Statue of Liberty then just take the Staten Island Ferry and get your picture taken with the statue in the background as you are going buy. When you get to Staten Island, stay on the ferry and come back to Manhatten. The World Trade site is sad, but they have improved it by telling the history of the area. Bloomies, Macy's Times Square and Rockefeller Center are all must see's. There is a little pop up map of Manhatten which was great to find places. Ask for the bus map and subway map from the subway station. Great to help you get around. If you are looking for museums MOMA is wonderful.
Central Park is beautiful. I don't know if the ice rinks are still up or not.
Have fun.
